What an exhausting day. Please go enjoy the photos I took, while dwelling on your Off Day boredom!

I just… I just can’t talk about that game. Ruined my whole day. I started getting dressed and ready to go for a ride on my motorcycle as Soria started the ninth. One down, on went the pants. Two down, slipped on the boots and got the gloves out. Even after the first single, I was whistling and wiping down the goggles. It was going to be a fine afternoon. Reasonably warm, a nice win behind us, all right with the world. And then, as you stated, that happened. I can’t. I just can’t talk about it. For some reason, four-and-two seems far less inspiring than 5-1.

It was unbelievable. Never in a thousand guesses would I have said, with runners on 1st and 3rd and two outs, Soria’s going to blow a lead. It was CRUSHING. It had been the most perfect day, until that happened.

Gaaargh! Sleeping on it didn’t help. I wish they played tonight. It’ll take another win to rinse the horror of that away.

My buddy and I went to that game. We were having a great time laughing at all the 2000’s Royal-esque mistakes the White Sox were making. Then Soria happened and when O’Sullivan was put in, we both turned to each other and said “It’s over.” Meh.
