Thanks, and a photo update on my face

Before we dive into the depressing question of “Why is Kila Ka’aihue still an Omaha Royal?” I’d like to thank all of you for your concern and well-wishes after I got hit in the face by a Kyle Davies warmup pitch the other night.

I’m mostly better, but the bruise is all kinds of lovely colors. Lee Warren of Royal Reflections and Omaha Royals Examiner took a photo of said bruise during Sunday’s game. You can see it in his game recap here.
