Hat tip to Baseball Time in Arlington, where I saw a video of some Rangers players doing one thing I have always wanted to do: Slip ‘n’ Sliding on the tarp during a rain delay. I’ve never been so jealous of anything, ever:
That is all.

Mark Buehrle used to do this all the time but then the team banned him from it. :(He hasn’t pitched the same since, hah.

I always wanted to do that too – it looks so awesome! Thanks for checking out my husband’s blog, he’s been talking about doing it for a long time – this season has been the final straw & he needed an outlet to vent – other than to me I guess!

Sarah- Why would they ban it*? What party-poopers. *Except for the obvious risk of all kinds of injuryMichelle – I like his blog, I have a feeling it’s going to be a very good one as time goes on. It’s always good to have multiple sources of ventilation as a Royals fan; I understand that feeling! :-)

Nice find. With the day and age most MLB players are labeled as being men and afraid to get hurt….its good that they remind us once in a while that they are really kids deep down. (even though Milton Bradley was one of them!)Hope you’re not working the CWS as a ball gal. I’ve been kinda mean to them and booed when they’ve dropped a ball. When I do, my wife slaps me. Woops.

Oh no, I’m not a ball girl at all. Boo away; it’s a proud Omaha tradition.Baseball players = overgrown 12-year-olds. Very rarely, like in this video, that’s a good/funny thing. Other times, it can be frustrating.
